BOWLING IS BACK ON THE WESTBANK!

The name Westside Lanes is synonymous with great bowling on the Westbank of New Orleans, Louisiana. Originally founded in the 1960s, Westside Lanes was originally the first bowling alley on this side of the river, and soon became one of many venues in this area. Yet changing fortunes over the years resulted in the closure of each of these beloved establishments, including our own historic venue in 2002. For nearly fifteen years, area bowlers have had to pursue their passion elsewhere—until now.

After a major renovation that began in 2014, Westside Lanes officially reopened in 2016 as the only bowling alley on the Westbank. As longtime members of the community for over fifty years, we take pride in our local heritage, but we also blend past with future by offering the premier bowling experience available in greater New Orleans.
